My Morning Jacket is thrilled and honored to be nominated for a Grammy® Award for their critically acclaimed album The Waterfall in the category of Best Alternative Music Album. Their seventh studio album was recorded at Panoramic House Studio in beautiful Stinson Beach, CA, and released on May 4 via Capitol/ATO Records. The 2016 Grammy® Awards will air February 16 on CBS at 8:00PM EST.

After the release of the record in May, My Morning Jacket embarked on a worldwide tour which saw them playing Bonnaroo, Boston Calling, and Governors Ball. The tour ended with a sold out, four-night run at New York City's legendary Beacon Theatre where the band played an incredible set of 89 songs with absolutely no repeats. Stereogum hailed it as a "giant, all-encompassing celebration" which culminated in MMJ covering the Eagles of Death Metal's "I Love You All the Time" to raise money for the victims' families of the Paris attacks.

As the end of 2015 draws closer, The Waterfall is already receiving praise from a variety of outlets. It's graced Best of 2015 lists from the likes of American Songwriter, Mojo, Music Times, Paste, Relix, Stereogum, Toronto Sun, Uncut, Under the Radar, and more!

The band also stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform a stunning rendition of their song "Tropics" accompanied by a five-piece string section.

Be sure to look out for another big announcement from MMJ coming soon!
