Jeffrey Osborne is a funk and R&B musician, songwriter, lyricist and was for more than ten years the lead singer of the band L.T.D.. In 1982 Osborne released his self-titled debut album which featured two hit singles "Wings of Love" and "I Really Don't Need No Light." This was followed the next year by his first gold album which later reached platinum status, the first of his five solo gold and platinum albums.
