Hip-Hop star Mike Stud has kicked off 2016 in a big way. The celebrated artist released his new album These Days on January 12th, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap charts and #6 on the iTunes Top Album charts.

As an artist with a vast YouTube following, Stud has just shot a new video for his song "Anyone Else" starring Josie Canseco, daughter of former Major League Baseball Player Jose Canseco. "Anyone Else" was directed by Patty Quinn and edited by Jon Kilmer.

Not many hip-hop musicians can say that they began their career as a college baseball player, but Mike Stud was one of the talented few and won a Louisville Slugger scholarship to attend Duke University. After injuring his arm during his sophomore year he began writing rap lyrics resulting in a song entitled "College Humor." A YouTube video was created (which racked up 1.5 views) and paved the way for his next video "In This Life" featuring an appearance by Loggy and was followed by A Toast To Tommy a mix tape that rose to #2 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts followed by Relief in 2013. Stud soon signed to Atlantic Records' 300 Entertainment imprint and released Closer in 2014. Closer hit #13 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and #2 on the R&B Hip Hop chart.

These Days is available on iTunes and Spotify.
