Singer, songwriter and Metro Detroit native, Mike Posner announced his seven date "Unplugged" tour to include a stop in Detroit. Posner will perform at the intimate City Theatre on Sunday, April 6 at 8 p.m.

Tickets ($20) go on sale Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets by phone, call (800) 745-3000. For additional information, call (313) 471-6611.

Posner last visited Detroit when he joined Justin Bieber on stage at Joe Louis Arena last summer. Now, he is trading the big production for an acoustic guitar and piano.

The tour will highlight music new and old from the songwriter and producer's discography, including new material from upcoming album Pages, his sophomore album (RCA), which is due this summer. Posner will share personal stories behind the music and the audience will get the chance to ask him questions for a truly intimate concert experience.
