Australian artist Matt Corby will perform songs from his debut album, Telluric, at Terminal 5 on Thursday, June 16th.

Telluric, the debut full-length from Australian musician Matt Corby is out now via Elektra Records. The album, which was recently awarded Feature Album of the Week on Australia's revered triple j Radio, continues to receive critical acclaim both stateside and abroad.

Additionally, The Wild Honey Pie will present Corby's anticipated return to North America this summer with tour stops including, Chicago's Vic Theatre, San Francisco's The Fillmore, Los Angeles' The Wiltern, Washington DC's 9:30 Club, New York's Terminal 5, as well as an appearance at Sasquatch! Music Festival. Of Corby's live show, The Wild Honey Pie explains, "His catchy melodies will make you hum along, his soulful voice will captivate you and the rhythm will keep you on your feet." See more information on the tour here.

Corby originally wrote his debut album two years ago in Los Angeles, but unsatisfied with the results he scrapped the entire project. His aim was to become self-sufficient in every aspect of the recording process-composing and producing his own music in addition to songwriting.

Delving a little deeper and a little darker, Corby spent the past few years in home studios all over the world ending up in a cottage in rural New South Wales Australia where he wrote and recorded new music. The album was produced by Dan Hume and co-produced by Corby.

In 2011 Corby's career took off with the release of the Into the Flame EP featuring the song "Brother," which garnered 5.5 million plays on YouTube and went six times platinum in Australia. "Brother" and his 2013 single "Resolution" both won ARIA Music Awards for Song of the Year. Off the back of this success, Corby played sold-out headline shows across Europe and performed at some of the UK's biggest festivals including Glastonbury and Latitude.
