Mary Gatchell will be performing her great music with her NYC Band at the beautiful Leddy Center at Verdant Pastures on Ladd's Lane in Epping, NH, this evening, October 4, at 7:30pm.

Mary Gatchell is a dynamic singer, pianist, and composer living in New York City with four albums to her credit. She has played in legendary clubs such as the Blue Note, Birdland, Bitter End, CBGB's, Knitting Factory, Boston House of Blues, Ryles, and many more. Mary holds a degree in Music Composition and Performance from NYU. Most recently, Mary was chosen to sing back up to Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones on their 50th Anniversary Tour for three concerts in New York City.

Joining Mary is Ken Dow on bass. Ken currently performs with the Broadway hit, Jersey Boys, winner of the 2006 Grammy Award for Platinum-selling Best Original Cast Album as well as 4 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Ken has worked with international film and theatre stars Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Grace Jones, Eartha Kitt, David Norona (Six Feet Under) and Billy Zane.

David Phelps will be on guitar! David is currently a member of Peter Apflebaum's 11-piece band, The New York Hieroglyphics. He also leads his own band the Eclectic Troubadours. David has appeared on television, most recently on Late Night with Conan O'Brien with songwriter Jesse Harris, who won a Grammy award for penning the hit Don't Know Why, for Norah Jones' first CD. He has recorded for the hit Nickelodeon children's TV show, The Backyardigans, and recorded with Public Enemy on the soundtrack for the movie, He Got Game. David is adjunct professor at the Steinhardt School at New York University.

Incredible drummer, Willard Dyson, is an active and extremely talented drummer on the New York City and international music scenes. A versatile musician from the San Francisco Bay area, he is at home in a myriad of rhythmic genres, including jazz, R&B, Latin and Brazilian music. Willard works regularly with a diverse group of musicians including Regina Belle, Grady Tate, Jimmy Scott, The New York Voices, Dakota Staton and Cassandra Wilson. He also is very active playing the local jazz scene in New York City, as well as in various Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. As Regina Belle's drummer, Willard has toured in the United states, Japan and Europe, as well as appearing on The Tonight Show, Soul Train, The Arsenio Hall Show, Good Morning America and BET. He has been called, "perfect, imaginative, sensitive, exciting and subtle, with a stunning flair for devastating funk" in The Wellington Journal. Willard has performed at the New Zealand, JVC, Playboy and Essence Music festivals. He holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz and Commercial Music from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.

Mary Gatchell in Concert will be presented Friday evening, October 4, at 7:30pm at Leddy Center, Verdant Pastures, on Ladd's Lane off Rt. 27, in Epping, NH.
