Mariah Carey Headed to EMPIRE for Season 2

Mariah Carey is officially headed to EMPIRE.

Creator Lee Daniels confirmed the news earlier today that the multi-Grammy-winning singer would appear on the second season of the hit Fox musical drama, according to Billboard.

"I love you with all my heart and am so proud of you," Daniels said during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony earlier today. "Watch her on Empire, you guys. She's coming on Empire."

As of now, no details on Carey's character have been announced.
