A double billing of blues. Marcia Ball and Elvin Bishop share the love and the stage, tonight, February 14 at Park City's Eccles Center. Ball, "a sensational and saucy singer and superb pianist" (USA Today), and legendary guitarist-singer-songwriter Bishop blend their extraordinary talents in a show that delivers good-time, raucous blues as well as soulful ballads. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 435-655-3114 or online at EcclesCenter.org.

Raised in Louisiana and born in Texas, Marcia Ball's music has all the flavors of her upbringing: New Orleans R&B, Louisiana ballads and boogie, Tex-Mex zydeco and Gulf Coast blues. With five Grammy nominations, six living Blues Awards and nine Blues Music Awards and a slew of chart-topping hits, Ball consistently delivers tremendous and playful shows with remarkable storytelling and phenomenal musicianship.

Guitar-wielding Bishop also comes to Park City on the heels of a new CD release, "Can't Even Do Wrong Right." His wicked guitar playing accompanies tunes that fall somewhere between blues and rock with just a pinch of country.

Bishop first broke into the limelight with Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 1965 and his monster hit "Fooled Around and Fell In Love" propelled his music to the top of the charts. Ever since, he has consistently delivered a rollicking brand of blues and a captivating, happy-go-lucky presence.
