MTV Buzzworthy to Premiere Metro Station's New Music Video

Metro Station, the pop rock / electronica band responsible for the infectious and wildly popular hit 'Shake It,' is thrilled to announce the MTV Buzzworthy premiere of the band's new music video for single EVERY TIME I TOUCH YOU. Directed and animated by LA based directing duo WATTS, the video is just as high-energy as the track itself. With a dance-pop sound, the band manages to stay true to its rock roots while incorporating plenty of synth to make you want to move.

Be sure to check the video out on Tuesday, June 25th at http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/.

Metro Station has recently been logging as much studio time as possible recording and perfecting new music between plenty of private gigs and live dates, including performances at the American Music Awards, SXSW and Sundance. Itching to get back on the road and in front of their fans, Metro Station is gearing up for not only the release of its 5-track EP MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT in late summer but also a multi-city tour in early fall.

Metro Station itself is by no means new to the scene, though its recent rebirth has breathed new life into the group. The band's storied career began in Los Angeles in 2006. Within a year of formation, Metro Station released the song "Seventeen Forever" on MySpace and found themselves included on MySpace Music's Unsigned Band's charts, no small feat for the time. Metro Station signed with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records in late 2006 and released its self-titled debut studio album The Following year. "Shake It" and its immediate explosion on the charts came shortly thereafter, peaking in the top ten of three US charts. Over the years, Metro Station has shared the stage with bands like Motion City Soundtrack, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Fall Out Boy and Boys Like Girls as well as headlined their own tours like the popular Disco Balls & Blow Up Dolls with Cash Cash, White Tie Affair and Tyga.
