Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt Join The Music Hall's 2014-15 Season; Perform 4/29

Portsmouth, NH -- The Music Hall has announced the newest show coming to its already robust and diverse 2014-2015 season of performances, cinema, and literary events on stage and on screen in two theaters. In addition to the five shows we've already announced last week, we have added two of America's most celebrated singer-songwriters, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt.

Lyle Lovett is a Grammy Award-winning singer, composer, and actor who has recorded fourteen albums and released twenty-two singles, transcending the boundaries of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues into a category solely of his own.

The songs of John Hiatt have been covered by countless musicians, from Bob Dylan to Bonnie Raitt, and Iggy Pop to Keith Urban. A talented singer and guitarist with 24 albums to his credit, Hiatt's style is a fusion of rock, folk, new wave, and Mississippi Delta blues.

Already on sale for the 2014/2015 season are; Legend Renée Fleming on Wednesday, February 11, Diana Krall on Thursday March 5, and The Moth Mainstage on Saturday March 21.

Additionally, the wildly popular Met @ The Music Hall returns with an exciting and diverse lineup of operas for the 2014-2015 season, broadcast live in spectacular HD in the historic theater on Chestnut Street.
