Legendary Rapper Biz Markie and Trumpeter Spencer Ludwig Set to Perform at The 6th Annual Streamy Awards

Tubefilter, dick clark productions and YouTube announced today that hip hop legend Biz Markie as well as Warner Bros recording artist, singer and trumpeter Spencer Ludwig, formerly of Capital Cities, will perform at the 6th Annual Streamys Awards. The annual awards show, which honors the best in online video and the creators behind it, will be hosted by television and online multi-hyphenate King Bach and will live streamed on the official Streamy Awards YouTube channel tonight, Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 9PM ET / 6PM PT live from The Beverly Hilton.

The legendary Biz Markie brings more than 30 years of solid hip-hop acumen and an overwhelming global fan-base. He will perform his hit songs "Make The Music With You. Mouth" as well as "Just A Friend," which made VH1's list of 100 greatest hip-hop songs of all time. He recently guest starred on an episode of FOX's hit series Empire.

Los Angeles born vocalist-instrumentalist Spencer Ludwig is best known as the former trumpeter for multiplatinum-selling indie pop act Capital Cities. Following a whirlwind two years in the group, Ludwig commenced writing solo material that showcased his trumpet talents, songwriting skills and dynamic, diverse vocals. In July, Spencer's first single was selected as the song for the Fall 2016 Target campaign, and Spencer appears in the spot.

Fourteen awards will be presented live at the 6th Annual Streamy Awards. Winners from the remaining categories were announced at the Official Streamys Nominee Reception at
YouTube Space LA on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Time Inc.'s new brand, INSTANT, is the Streamy Awards' official media partner and presenter of the 2016 Breakout Creator Award.

Fans can vote online for "Entertainer of the Year" and "Show of the Year" until 11:59:59am PT the day of the Streamy Awards, Tuesday, October 4. They can cast their vote at streamys.org/vote and/or on Twitter by including the nominee's name, any form of the word "vote" (ex: vote, voting, voted) AND #streamys in their Tweets. Fans can vote up to 100 times per day on both streamys.org and Twitter. The winners of both categories will be announced at the live show.
