Iconic Tony Award-winning original star of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg's celebrated Vietnam-set musical Miss Saigon, Lea Salonga, will be performing in tonight's 25th anniversary special performance of the musical in the West End, along with fellow Tony- and Olivier Award-winning co-star Jonathan Pryce.

The 25th anniversary celebration for Miss Saigon will occur tonight, September 22 at the Prince Edward Theatre in London's West End. Additionally, the performance is scheduled to be recorded live and broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on September 28.

The official description of the West End revival of Miss Saigon is as follows: "Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production has made its highly anticipated return to the West End, and is breaking box office records. Since Miss Saigon's sensational record-breaking run at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane 25 years ago it has played in 300 cities in 15 different languages, winning awards around the world. This epic musical love story tells the tragic tale of young bar girl Kim, orphaned by war, who falls in love with an American GI called Chris - but their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon."
