According to The Daily Mail, a crop of the most prominent musical artists of the year may be headed to X FACTOR U.K.

Sources have told the publication that Simon Cowell has managed to wrangle Lady Gaga, One Direction, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Susan Boyle, and Olly Murs to take the stage for the series' Sunday night results show.

But Cowell isn't stopping there. He's also reportedly chasing Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Cher, and even former U.S. X FACTOR judge Britney Spears.

Considering the source from the Daily Star, take the rumor with a grain of salt.

The X Factor was created by Syco Entertainment and is produced by Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia North America. Rob Wade and Nigel Hall are executive producers for Syco Television.
