LEELA JAMES Delivers Video For 'Say That' Feat. Anthony Hamilton

R&B/Soul singer-songwriter Leela James premieres the official video for her new single "Say That" featuring Anthony Hamilton. The video can be seen on VEVO, and has been added to rotation at VH1 Soul and power rotation at Centric TV.

"Say That" is the first single from Leela James' forthcoming album, which will be released in early 2014 via J&T Records/BMG/RED Distribution. Currently #22 on the Urban AC radio chart, "Say That"has been receiving favorable reviews for showcasing James' powerful vocals. "Say That" is availablefor purchase at all digital retailers including iTunes.

TV One announced this week that Leela James is the newest diva to star in season 2 of their hit reality series, R&B Divas LA. Alongside newbie Chrisette Michele, James' joins returning cast members Chanté Moore, Lil' Mo, Michel'le, and Claudette Ortiz. The show will follow James as she gears up to launch her forthcoming album, in addition to giving never-seen-before access to her personal life.

Leela James burst onto the scene with her 2006 debut album A Change is Gonna Come, introducing audiences to her considerable vocal chops and garnering nominations for Outstanding New Artist at the NAACP Image Awards and Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist of 2008 at the Soul Train Music Awards. She has gone on to record three subsequent albums including My Soul, which reached #7 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart and #37 on the Billboard 200 chart, and earned acclaim from critics for her songwriting skills. Nicknamed Baby Etta as a little girl, James paid homage to her idol in 2012 by recording her album Loving You More...In the Spirit of Etta James.
