Rising Los Angeles band Neil Frances premieres a new song, "Back To What I Know." Listen to the track, of which Triple J director Richard Kingsmill says "It's got a magic touch to it...I'm still transfixed," here.

The song is the first the group ever wrote together and explores the shame, remorse and deep regret experienced in almost cheating on a lover, belying its bright pop production.
"Back To What I Know" follows the band's debut release "Dumb Love," released last month to early, tastemaker support from the likes of KCRW, Triple J,NYLON, High Snobiety and more.
Neil Frances began writing pop music for female vocalists in early 2016, before quickly realizing a preference for the raw, original versions of their demos and set out to record an album.
The following months brought encouraging buzz and bootlegged radio plays from KCRW and others. Now, armed with over an album's worth of material, Neil Frances will release new music throughout the remainder of 2017.
