Kim Jong-Seo is a veteran South Korean rock musician. He first appeared in 1985 as part of the legendary rock band Boohwal. After Boohwal, Kim Jong-Seo was part of several rock bands, among others: Sinawe, Charisma, and Little Sky. He started going solo in 1992 with his first album titled "Rethona" which had his first mega hit "You without an answer." After his first album, he had numerous hits including "(MY LOVE)", "Winter Rain(???)" "The Beautiful Restriction" and many more.

He has released 20 solo albums up to now, and is currently active as a rock singer as well as a guest singer for the famous TV program "The Immortal Song" which contestants compete each other with legendary singers' hit songs. He was invited as a legend but with his humble mind he rejected that offer and said he rather compete. He already won twice with the highest score ever.
