Join the Kansas City Chorale with composer, singer, and founder of Ireland's national choir, Anúna, Michael McGlynn, as we perform a concert celebrating Celtic pride!

Repertoire to include McGlynn's "Wild Song," "Dulaman," "Hinbarra," "The Flower of Maherally," and "Londerry Air."

About Michael McGlynn [b.1964, Dublin, Ireland], COMPOSER, SINGER, EDUCATOR & CHORAL DIRECTOR.
His compositional language combines elements of medieval and traditional music (modality, ornamentation and drones) with jazz-tinged chordal clusters and a distinctive melodic sensibility. In 1987 he founded the Irish choral group ANÚNA whose repertoire features his compositions and arrangements almost exclusively. He has produced and recorded sixteen albums for the choir.
