Three-time GRAMMY®-nominated artist KEM's newest single, "Nobody," is #1 on the Urban AC charts for a fifth consecutive week. "Nobody" is the second #1 song from KEM's fourth studio album Promise to Love, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 on August 25, 2014. Promise to Love's lead single, "It's You," spent four consecutive weeks (five weeks total) atop the UAC charts.

Currently, KEM can be seen performing in cities across the U.S. on the Forever Charlie Tour, along with the legendary Charlie Wilson and Joe Thomas. The concert tour, with upcoming stops in cities including Dallas, New Orleans, Houston and Los Angeles, has been getting excellent reviews. Examiner.com says, "... at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena the Forever Charlie Tour was an inter-generational ride of love and expression bringing out fans of all ages, and cultures. KEM's stage presence is larger than life, backed by a six-piece band and beautiful backing singers, he instantly turned the arena into a love lounge, as fans sang every high and low note eagerly and cheerful to witness his musical gifts."

KEM is grateful for the success that Promise to Love and the tour are experiencing. He says, "This is the first time we've had two #1's on the same album. And this honor comes in the midst of selling out arenas with the Forever Charlie Tour. I can't say enough to express my heartfelt appreciation to all the fans, radio programmers and DJs, my label and my team. It's truly a blessing."

About KEM:
The internationally renowned R&B singer/songwriter released his first album, Kemistry on his own Kemistry Records label in 2001. After the independent release sold upwards of 15,000 units, KEM was signed by Motown. The label re-released Kemistry, which was subsequently certified Gold. His first hit, "Love Calls" rocketed to No. 1 on the Urban Adult Contemporary charts, and continues to be played on R&B radio stations to this day.

KEM Album II followed in May 2005. Now certified Platinum, it contained the No. 1 hit "I Can't Stop Loving You," which was Billboard's Top Adult R&B Single of the Year. Intimacy, KEM's third studio album, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in August 2010 and went Gold. The No. 1 single "Why Would You Stay" received two GRAMMY nominations. His 2012 holiday album, What Christmas Means, was released in October 2012 and went on to become the #3 highest-selling Urban Christmas record in one season. In 2013, he wrote and recorded a duet with Ronald Isley entitled "My Favorite Thing," which was released as the second single from Isley's CD This Song Is For You and also appears on Promise to Love. KEM made his acting debut in the 2012 film Sparkle, starring Jordin Sparks and the late Whitney Houston. Several of his songs have also been featured in films.
