Four time Grammy award and eight time Canadian Juno award-winning singer-songwriter k.d. lang and her new band, the Siss Boom Bang, will make a stop along her Sing it Loud tour in Modesto on June 29, 2012 to play at the Gallo Center for the Arts. The show was recently added to the 2011/2012 season lineup at the Center, and received instant raves from fans throughout the Central Valley.

The Canadian pop and country singer-songwriter, known for hits such as Constant Craving and Miss Chatelaine, has teamed up with musicians such as the late Roy Orbison, Tony Bennett, and Elton John. Bennet has said of lang: “She’s the best singer of her generation.”

k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang’s new album, Sing it Loud, has won wide praise as “a must have for every music fan.” lang said “I would have to say that Sing it Loud is actually probably the pinnacle of my creative life because it happened so fast, so naturally, and with so much joy.”
