Californian based band Junk Parlour, described as Bohemian Crooner Punk by one fan, are about to embark on a UK tour in support of the release of their new single 'Vultures and Weasles'.

Junk Parlor is an adventure down a path paved with Eastern European, vintage bellydance melodies and the band's own brand of haunting original compositions. Leonard Cohen-esque vocals and poetry, ripping violin, cajon, percussion, drums, fretless electric bass, clarinet and electric guitar all come together to create an edgy dreamscape, as original as it is compelling.

Described by one fan as 'Bohemian Crooner Punk', Junk Parlour are often compared to artists such as Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Gogol Bordello.

Jason Vanderford leads the band with vocals and acoustic guitar, accompanied by Calvin Lai's ripping clarinet, Tim Bush's growling bass and Robin Goodrich's swaggering beat... theirs is a dream perched precariously on the edge of a cliff.
