Laurence Juber is a two-time Grammy award-winning fingerstyle acoustic guitarist, also known for his electric work as lead guitarist in Paul McCartney's Wings. Juber has released 15 critically acclaimed solo albums which feature his celebrated arrangements of popular tunes and genre-crossing compositions. In fall 2010, he released the highly anticipated "LJ Plays the Beatles Vol. 2." He was voted "Guitarist of the Year" by the readers of Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine and named one of the top acoustic guitar players of all time by Acoustic Guitar Magazine. A dynamic, entertaining performer and an accomplished clinician, LJ brings his passion for the guitar to venues around the world, creating a multifaceted performance that belies the use of only one instrument.

Recently described as "A bar of gold in the new depression" by Hilton Als in the New Yorker, singer, songwriter and Tony-nominated performance artist Justin Bond is an Obie, Bessie and Ethyl Eichelberger Award winner and was named one of the top 40 favorite New Yorkers by Time Out New York and was listed by Time Out London as one of England's 50 Funniest People. His debut EP Pink Slip was released in July 2009. In 2008, he won rave reviews for his GLAAD nominated show Lustre which premiered at PS122 in the East Village and then went on to tour the UK with stops in Manchester, England as part of the It's Queer Up North Arts Festival and in a critically acclaimed run at London's Soho Theatre. Also in 2008, Justin appeared at The Southbank Center in London in the title role of Sinderella an original musical written by Martyn Jacques of The Tiger Lillies. In 2007, he premiered Justin Bond is Close To You, a reinterpretation of the classic Carpenter's album Close To You performed in its entirety as part of Joe's Pub in the Park in Central Park and subsequently presented by The Sydney Opera House in Australia. He regularly Emcees the performance series Weimar New York which has played in such varied locations as the SFMOMA, The Speigeltent, and Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in New York.
As one-half of the Performance duo Kiki and Herb, Justin has toured the world headlining at Carnegie Hall, The Sydney Opera House, London's Queen Elizabeth Hall and starred in successful runs on Broadway and off-Broadway. Kiki and Herb have released two CDs, Do You Hear What We Hear?, Kiki and Herb Will Die For You at Carnegie Hall and a DVD Kiki and Herb Live at the Knitting Factory.
Film credits include a starring role in John Cameron Mitchell's feature Shortbus, Charles Hermann-Wurmfeld's Fancy's Persuasion as well as Imaginary Heroes and Jon Moritsugu's Mod Fuck Explosion. In 2006 Bond completed his MA Scenography at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London. Justin credits his career as a queer performer to Kate Bornstein who cast him as Herculine Barbin in her ground-breaking play Hidden: A Gender in 1991.

Seattle-based singer/songwriter Matt Alber has been writing about that same sliver of hope since he quit his day job and started making records at home. Alber's first full-length album, Hide Nothing, does just that. He sings openly about a boyhood crush on a Field-trip Buddy. In Beotia, he sings both parts of a duet (one in coloratura soprano) between male lovers in an ancient army. He even plays a 1960s crooner in the music video for End of the World, finding love in a barbershop with a gentleman getting his shoes shined. Sonically he culls everything from chopped-up beats to children's choirs - and did I hear a real bassoon? But Alber's songs, while keeping the pronouns honest, seep deeply into the heart of any listener who's ever wondered if things were going to work out.
Followers of Iron & Wine, Imogen Heap and Eva Cassidy will rest easy at Alber's shows. A quick glance around the room will reveal numerous couples holding hands, gay hipsters galore and probably somebody's parents. At a recent show in New York, a starry-eyed couple drove in from Connecticut (in the snow on a Monday) to catch Alber's set with a string quartet at the elegant Rockwood Music Hall. Everyone has a favorite band or singer they reckon is subject to criminal neglect. That John Grant's effortlessly rich, expansive baritone, couched in typically heartbreaking, lush melody, hasn't found a wider audience indeed drives his fans to consider a crime. But no longer.
