Country music star, Jo Dee Messina, highlights a jammed pack night at the State Theatre on Saturday, October 11th that also includes "The man with the golden voice" returning to his hometown of Easton, PA for a night of unforgettable song. Easton's own Carmen Jon will in the Acopian Ballroom while Messina thrills from the main stage.

The State Theatre Cabaret in the Acopian Ballroom featuring Carmen Jon: Returning Home is set for 7:30 PM. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased in the same manners. Debuting in 1996 with the hit single Heads Carolina, Tails California, Jo Dee Messina has charted nine number one singles, 16 Top 40 singles and sold more than five million records worldwide. Her latest album title ME was chosen by fans, and it marks Jo Dee's most personal album to date as she wrote or co-wrote many of the songs. She released the album on her own recently-established label, Dreambound Records. For the first time in her career, Messina was able to boldly do things her own way and pave her own path to success.

In 1998, Messina was named the Top New Female Artist but the Academy of Country Music Artists. Billboard Magazine named her the Most Played Country Female Artist of the Year in 1999. The two-time Grammy nominee has two Platinum and three Gold records, certified by the RIAA.

Carmen Jon has appeared across the country in a variety of demanding singing styles, all the way from such outstanding supper clubs as Jilly's in New York City to La Strada in California, from Carnegie Hall in the "Big Apple" and the Academy of Music in Philadelphia with the Philadelphia Orchestra to the stage of the St. Louis Municipal Opera, not to mention his many television appearances. His long list of musical comedy credits includes Fiddler on the Roof, Man of La Mancha and My Fair Lady. His unique and dynamic style has many qualities. He can sing international and classic, plus he can croon with the best of them. Carmen has several CD's already on the market where he demonstrates his entire singing prowess.
