Performing Arts Fort Worth proudly announces the lineup for the 2016-2017 BNSF Popular Entertainment Series! Sponsored by BNSF Railway, the series includes, among others, acclaimed pianist Jim Brickman; the return of the percussion sensation DRUMLine Live; and, making their Bass Hall debut, The Five Irish Tenors.

Tickets for each show go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 5. Additional shows will be added throughout the season.

Previously announced shows in the series include Lyle Lovett (August 23), JeAnne Robertson (November 6) and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis (Dec. 29), all of which are on sale now.

Piano sensation Jim Brickman brings the songs and sounds of the season to Bass Hall with his 2016 holiday tour. Hailed by the Boston Herald as a "crowd-pleaser," Brickman celebrates his 20-year Christmas concert tradition with new music, holiday classics and modern favorites. Revisit yuletide memories with Brickman's hits like "The Gift," "Sending You A Little Christmas," "Peace," "Angel Eyes" and "If You Believe." Jim Brickman will remind you that faith, love and togetherness are what we cherish most this time of year.

A the show-stopping production created by the musical team behind the hit movie Drumline, DRUMLine Live is an international tour based on the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) marching band tradition. With riveting rhythms, bold beats and ear-grabbing energy, the live show is a synchronized musical showcase of the HBCU experience. Incorporating original compositions and soul-infused interpretations of top 40 hits, performances will range from colorful, choreographed routines to heavy doses of drum riffs and cadences.

Following in the footsteps of the great Irish tenor John McCormack, The Five Irish Tenors fuse Irish wit and boisterous charm with lyricism, dramatic flair and operatic style to bring you a unique Irish tenor concert experience. Featuring both famously beloved Irish song and opera arias, in combinations of tenor solos, duets, trios, quartets, quintets and tutti, this distinctive program includes, among others, W.B Yeats's "Down by the Sally Gardens," Verdi's "O Mio Rimorso" from La Traviata, Cherubini Bixio's "Mamma, The Rose of Tralee," Cesar Frank's "Paris Angelicus," Mozart's "Il Mio Tesoro," "She Moves Through the Fair" and the glorious "Danny Boy."
