Jennifer Hudson Among Performance Line-Up for 2013 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS

Billboard.com reports that Jennifer Hudson, Tamar Braxton and Smokey Robinson will be among the performers of the 2013 Soul Train Awards. The fifth annual show is Being taped on Nov. 8 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and will air on Centric and BET on Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET.

Also on the roster of performers are K. Michelle, Wale, Kem, Chrisette Michelle, Eric Benét, Ronald Isley, Bobby Caldwell, Joss Stone and "American Idol" season 12 winner Candice Glover. Notes Robinson, "I'm very excited to be a part of this year's 'Soul Train Awards.' I'm thrilled that the show is honoring Dionne Warwick -- one of my favorite people -- and that I'll be performing in tribute to her."

The West coast rapper leads all nominees for the 2013 Soul Train Awards with six nods in categories such as Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration and the coveted Album of the Year.

Miguel, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Chris Brown and the lone lady Tamar Braxton follow behind Lamar with five nominations apiece spanning the categories of The Ashford and Simpson Songwriter's Award, Best Collaboration, Best Dance Performance and more.

Anthony Anderson will serve as this year's host.
