Jay Z & Beyonce Set to Perform this Summer in First Ever Joint Tour
According to MTV.com, Power couple Jay Z and Beyonce are planning their first joint tour, which is expected to perform in 20 U.S. cities. It was reported that the stadium outing is expected to be titled the Mr. & Mrs. Carter Tour and will launch on June 13 in Atlanta and wind down on August 6 in San Francisco. In between, the Carters may hit New York for a 4th of July blowout. Another tentative date includes a gig at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on August 3.
The tour is also reportedly slated to go overseas to Europe in the fall, with multiple shows set for Paris in September. Though the couple have recorded joint hits like "Crazy In Love" and "Drunk In Love," they have never hit the road together.
The Carters themselves have recently finished their respective tours. Jay Z's Magna Carter World Tour ended in January after a stadium run with collaborator Justin Timberlake and Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show closed in March and ranks as one of the top-grossing tours of all time.
