Singer, songwriter and performer Jason Derulo will release his third album Tattoos this fall. The new album arrives over a year after the Miami native suffered a freak accident while preparing for his Future History World Tour.

Last week Derulo made his media rounds to promote the new album stopping by Chelsea Lately to discuss life before taking over the main outdoor stage at Good Morning America to perform a medley of his hits.

Yesterday, he joined Jennifer Hudson, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Aisha Tyler and a group of other artists, actors, musicians, writers and producers at the White House for a special meeting with President Barack Obama and staff to help inform young people about the Affordable Care Act. Derulo, who fractured a vertebra in his neck in a rehearsal stunt for his 2011 world tour, informed the group that his life and livelihood were spared because of his health coverage.

To further build anticipation, Derulo has released his UK second single "Talk Dirty" which features a verse from 2 Chainz. The guest spot for the jazzy club-banger features one of the last guest verses by the rapper this year as he prepares for the follow-up to his 2012 debut album Based On A T.R.U. Story. "I'm really excited about the single. It has a feature and I've never done that before," said Jason on "Talk Dirty." "It's just a shocking song. When you hear it, you'll know what I'm talking about. People will be thinking 'Hmm, really?!' It's very out there, but it was so fun." A video for the single will debut early August.

The album is led by the hit single "The Other Side" which has just entered the Top 5 at mainstream radio, reaching over 76 million people in cumulative audience across all formats. This is the fourth time the Miami native has had a single in the Top 5. Earlier this year, "The Other Side" became the #1 most added in the format this year coming in just behind the all-time record set by former touring mate Lady Gaga.

Jason Derulo signed to Beluga Heights in 2009 after producing and writing songs for the likes of Birdman, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Danity Kane, Sean Kingston and Cassie. Since his self-titled debut that year and touring with Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas, the 2011 pop Songwriter of the Year has become a global force selling over 15 million tracks domestically and 25 million worldwide due to a string of Top 10 singles: "Watcha Say," "In My Head," "Ridin' Solo", "Don't Wanna Go Home," "It Girl," and the latest, "The Other Side."
