Playing Eyes On The City in its entirety plus other classics. Brian Newman, best known as Lady Gaga's jazz bandleader, collaborated with the pop superstar and legendary singer Tony Bennett on their 2014 Grammy-winning album Cheek to Cheek which featured arraignments by Newman and his band. The single, "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" debuted at number one on the Billboard Charts. Brian is will soon be releasing his own album Eyes On The City, produced by Cheek to Cheek producer Dae Bennett, showcasing his band and their talents.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Veronica Swift, age 22, is now being recognized around the country as one of the top young jazz singers on the scene. In the fall of 2015, she won second place at the prestigious Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition. Last month, she was a guest artist with Michael Feinstein at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York with the Tedd Firth Big Band and Marilyn Maye and Freda Payne. Veronica's first appearance at Jazz at Lincoln Center was at age 11 for "Women in Jazz" series at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola. She will headline at the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado this summer - her 10th appearance there - but first as a headliner.

ABOUT THE SHOW: British Blues/Rock pioneer Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown celebrate 50 continuous years of touring including more than 5,000 gigs from the Royal Albert Hall to Carnegie Hall to the Fillmore East and West, and now back at The Iridium! One of the earliest of British blues bands, Savoy Brown helped launch the 1967 UK blues boom movement that brought blues music back to the USA invigorating the style forever. In the process, the band became part of the framework that launched the rock and roll music of the 1970's. Last Spring, the band released The Devil To Pay, Simmonds' 46th album, and it shows what 50 years giving one-hundred and ten percent can do.

Billy Drummond first came to prominence in the late 1980s in the bands of three jazz legends: Horace Silver, J.J. ABOUT THE SHOW: Celebrating their 45th Anniversary this year, Aztec Two-Step remains one of acoustic music's most beloved and enduring acts. In 1972, Aztec Two-Step, whose name comes from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, burst upon the scene with their self-titled debut album on Elektra Records. Since then Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman have spent a lifetime making music together as a folk-rock duo. Their first album, along with their subsequent albums for RCA Records, were staples of progressive FM and college radio and helped to bring the folk-rock music of the 1960s into the 70s and beyond.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Singer-songwriter and guitarist Raul Midón has collaborated with such heroes as Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder, along with contributing to recordings by Jason Mraz, Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg and the soundtrack to Spike Lee's She Hate Me. The New Mexico native, blind since birth, has released seven albums since 1999, including the hit Studio Productions State of Mind (Manhattan/EMI, 2005), A World Within a World (Manhattan/EMI, 2007) and Synthesis(Decca/Universal, 2009). Midón's most recent release is the captivating CD/DVD Invisible Chains - Live from NYC. His forthcoming album has the singer-guitarist adding producer-engineer to his portfolio of talents, with special computer software for the blind enabling him to engineer sessions on his own in his home studio. This project includes collaborations with Bill Withers, R&B singer-songwriter Lizz Wright, Cameroonian jazz bassist Richard Bona and Grammy-winning jazz singer Dianne Reeves.

The Iridium and its legacy as "The Home of Les Paul" has established the audiophile venue as a musical landmark in New York City, known as a destination for intimately experiencing the best jazz, blues and rock artists in the world. Over the last 20 years, The Iridium has built up a reputation for attracting iconic instrumentalists and vocalists seven nights a week, and as a result has grown in the diversity of its music offerings as emerging songwriters seek to join in the room's rich history of music discovery. Among the superstar acts that have graced The Iridium stage are Les Paul, who played weekly at The Iridium for more than 12 years until his passing in 2009, Jeff Beck, Steve Miller, Buddy Guy, Joe Walsh, Zakk Wylde, Joe Satriani, The Rolling Stones' Mick Taylor and Charlie Watts, Max Roach, Michael Brecker, among many others. Today, in addition to its consistent draw of legendary rock guitarists and jazz and blues musicians, The Iridium regularly showcases next generation talent spanning a variety of genres including folk, indie pop, alt rock, R&B, cabaret and world music.

The "Father of the Electric Guitar," Les Paul is revered as a pioneer in electric guitars and music recording, having designed the sound system The Iridium uses to this day. This influence has led to The Iridium becoming one of the only NYC concert venues to double as a live recording studio boasting its own music label - IridiumLive. Since 2011, notable releases on the IridiumLive label have included Grammy-winning guitarist Albert Lee's 'Live At The Iridium' and 'Les Paul Trio And Friends: A Jazz Tribute to Les' featuring Les Paul's band performing with special guests Nels Cline of Wilco, jazz guitar legend Stanley Jordan, Jane Monheit, and Bucky Pizzarelli. Jeff Beck's Grammy-nominated 'Rock 'N' Roll Party Honoring Les Paul' is also among the historical recordings at The Iridium.
