Enjoying a career resurgence that includes a celebrated return to the Billboard Dance charts, becoming celebrity spokesperson for a national cancer awareness campaign, and overwhelming critical acclaim for her debut solo album, CAPTIVE (Subpeona/Tazmania/Universal), dance pop icon JADE STARLING is embarking on a 2014 HOLIDAY RUN of tour dates, and promotional and charity appearances through the end of the year.

Best known as the vocalizing half and award-winning songwriter of the platinum-selling duo Pretty Poison (#1 hit "Catch Me I'm Falling" on Virgin Records), the flame-tressed diva will be visible at a variety of venues and events in the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia region. Performances include Thanksgiving Eve Freestyle Fever 2014 at the Copacabana, NYC (Nov. 26), and the Freestyle & Old School Extravaganza at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, NJ (Dec. 6). On the charity front, Starling will be appearing on behalf of Have a Catch for Barb (www.catchforbarb.org), the national cancer awareness campaign for which she was recently named Official Celebrity Spokesperson, at the 3rd Annual Flyers Alumni Hockey Game in Philadelphia (Dec. 14). She also is appearing Thanksgiving Weekend at the All Things That Rock Festival in Philadelphia (Nov. 28-29) with Peter Criss of KISS, Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more.

Starling charted high on the Billboard Dance charts this fall for the first time since "Catch Me (I'm Falling)" brought Pretty Poison international notoriety. "Think About U," the 2nd single from CAPTIVE, cracked the Top 15 on the Billboard Dance chart, the highest position Starling has experienced on that chart since her No. 1 Dance hit, "When I Look Into Your Eyes," from Pretty Poison's platinum Catch Me, I'm Falling album.

In addition to generously offering her time and image, Starling also is donating the use of "Catch Me (I'm Falling)," Pretty Poison's #1 hit dance pop classic, as the official song of the Have a Catch for Barb campaign, which raises awareness and money for families battling cancer, brings those families together, and helps them create memories that will last a lifetime. Starling will be making numerous personal appearances and performances supporting HAVE A CATCH FOR BARB, and "Catch Me (I'm Falling)" will be heard wherever the charity has a presence.

OK!TV, the nationally syndicated entertainment and gossip show, hosted the world premiere of the "Think About U" music video, and hosted Starling as a guest to talk about CAPTIVE and show an exclusive sneak peak clip. Other interviews include Premiere Radio Networks, Westwood One Radio Network, and Associated Press Broadcast Network.

Critical buzz continues to mount for Starling, whose dance-smart album was hailed as a "masterpiece" by AXS.com, and whose "voice is amazing," on CAPTIVE, declared ArtistDirect. The Knoxville News-Sentinel praised the radio-friendly, pop-oriented tracks dominating [the album,] Starling's naturalistic vocals give a touch of humanity" to CAPTIVE's first single, "the explosive 'Insomniak,'" which hit Top 30 on the Billboard Dance chart. The Trenton (NJ) Times cheered the album's "poppy backbone," "big beats" and "strong groove" while JoelGausten.com proclaimed it "The Perfect Album. ... Best Dance Album of 2014."

"Think About U," was produced by Lee Dagger of the hugely successful English remix team Bimbo Jones (Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue). CAPTIVE also features collaborations with newcomer Laszlo (Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Bieber & Nicki Minaj) and French DJ/remixer Franck Dona (Universal France).

In the spirit of the holidays, Starling says: "Let's catch the spirit of ending breast cancer. It's long overdue."
