The Foundation To Be Named Later (FTBNL), was launched in the spring of 2005 by Chicago Cubs President and former Red Sox Executive Vice President and

General Manager Theo Epstein and his twin brother Paul Epstein, a social worker in the Brookline Massachusetts Public School system. The mission of FTBNL is to improve the world through education, leadership and the healthy development of youth and families. FTNBL raises funds through events centered on music and baseball and uses those funds to make direct college grants to high need urban students through its Peter Gammons Scholarships and to support nonprofit partner agencies in Chicago and Boston that share its commitment to urban youth and families.

FTBNL is honored by the support of a dedicated network of civically minded corporations, foundations, and individuals. The Hot Stove Cool Music Series is the signature event of FTBNL. Founded by Peter Gammons, bi-annually, this community gathers to generate significant resources to advance the Foundation's mission and to share the inspiring impact of the Foundation's portfolio of non-profit partners.
