Hershey Area Playhouse Hosts 'Night of Bluegrass' Tonight

Hershey Area Playhouse announces a special musical performance by the bluegrass band, Easy Grass, for A Playhouse 'Night of Bluegrass' to be held tonight, September 12, 2014 at 7:30 pm.

Easy Grass is a bluegrass band comprised of several talented and experienced musicians from Campbelltown, Mount Joy, Harrisburg, Lebanon, and Reading. Musicians include Nev Jackson on the banjo, Dale Dourate on the Mandolin, Kenny Gehert on the Fiddle, Justin Webb on the guitar, and Rusty Sherrick on the bass. Offering quite the variety, Easy Grass performs pieces ranging from traditional bluegrass arrangements to up-tempo country and folk songs.

Opening for Easy Grass is West-Shore native, singer and guitarist Paul Zavinsky who has been performing his contemporary folk and classic blues numbers locally.

The performance will be held at Hershey Area Playhouse. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for youth and may be purchased online at www.HersheyAreaPlayhouse.com or by calling the box office at (717)-533-8525.
