The British-born, French-raised, London-based singer-songwriter Hero Fisher (yes, that's her real name) is one of the UK's most exciting musical exports and now setting her sites on the US.

The new visual accompaniment for Hero Fisher's new single, "Bird of Prey" is a beautifully eerie accompaniment to its audial foil. The highly stylized video is abstract in its superimposed imaging and its filmic black and white. The music is equally compelling with its dynamic weaving through light acoustic instrumentation and underlying electronic drums and synthesizers. Fisher's vocals are pronounced yet wispy:

"Like a bird of prey
I will not feed it
It will not stay"

There is a sense of early defeat but more so a sense of self-empowerment overriding it as the track progresses.

Shortlisted for the 2014 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Prize, Hero has collaborated Alison Mosshart and Boy George in the Mark Ronson-scored ballet Carbon Life, and opened for The Rolling Stones & Neil Young at Hyde Park. Her music toes the line between drama and delicacy, expertly portraying vulnerability without ever playing the victim. Her critically acclaimed debut album Delivery ft. lead single "Break My Heart And Mend It" is out now.
