Canvasback Music/Atlantic recording group Grouplove has announced early details of their much-anticipated new album. Produced by the band's own Ryan Rabin, "SPREADING RUMOURS" arrives in stores and at all online retailers on September 17th.

"SPREADING RUMOURS" which follows Grouplove's acclaimed 2011 debut, "NEVER TRUST A HAPPY SONG" will be led by the new single, "Ways To Go." "Ways To Go" made its world premiere on Alternative radio station KROQ in Los Angeles today, and is available Tuesday on the iTunes Store and all other major digital retailers. Additionally, a limited edition flexi-disc book featuring the album's thirteen tracks on individual vinyl "pages," each with original artwork by Grouplove's Hannah Hooper will be exclusively available for pre-order on the band's official website. The companion music video for "Ways To Go" premiered on the band's official YouTube channel and can be viewed at http://youtu.be/VGvHnDeS12o. Grouplove will perform "Ways To Go" on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on June 18th. Complete track listing for "SPREADING RUMOURS" attached below.

Grouplove will introduce fans to "SPREADING RUMOURS" with a series of upcoming live dates, including Celebrate Brooklyn! at Brooklyn's Prospect Park Bandshell on June 13th; Milwaukee's Summerfest 2013 on June 26th; the KRBZ #listenlonger Appreciation Party in Kansas City, KS on June 28th; and Austin, Texas's annual Austin City Limits Music Festival, slated for two weekends, October 4th-6th and October 11th-13th. Details for a North American headline tour in the fall will be announced soon for up-to-the-minute tour and ticket information, please visit www.grouplovemusic.com/tour-dates.

Grouplove came together in 2009 and soon were hailed as a great live act, both as headliners and at such international festivals as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Reading + Leeds Festivals, and Glastonbury. "NEVER TRUST A HAPPY SONG" arrived in 2011, making a stellar chart debut among the top 5 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" album chart for new and developing acts. Produced by the band's own Ryan Rabin, the acclaimed album was highlighted by the debut single, "Colours" which received critical acclaim and climbed to the top reaches at Alternative radio outlets nationwide.

"Tongue Tied," the second single from "NEVER TRUST A HAPPY SONG," proved an even greater success, earning RIAA platinum certification for sales in excess of 1 million while spending 3 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Alternative airplay chart. By year's end, the track had made history as Alternative radio's second most-played song of 2012, following only Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know." The third single, "Itchin' On A Photograph" also reached the Top 10 at Alternative radio.

Grouplove's dynamic live sets continued to win over fans on a pair of headline tours, both of which saw sold out crowds at every stop, including a hometown finale at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. That same undeniable energy was seen in an array of high profile television appearances, including CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, NBC's TODAY and Tonight Show with Jay Leno, TBS' Conan, and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Grouplove is: Christian Zucconi (vocals, guitar), Hannah Hooper (vocals, keys), Sean Gadd (bass, vocals), Andrew Wessen (guitar, vocals), Ryan Rabin (drums).
