Global Winter Wonderland to Host Radio Disney Star CoCo Jones, 12/21

Global Winter Wonderland, the spectacular lantern festival and multicultural theme park at Turner Field, and Radio Disney Atlanta, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families, has announced that Radio Disney star Coco Jones will perform on Saturday, December 21st. from the Radio Disney Atlanta Road Crew will host a pre-show featuring holiday themed interactive entertainment, giveaways and music from Radio Disney's "Fa-la-la-lidays" playlist from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and Coco Jones will perform at 6:30 p.m. Following her performance, guests will have the opportunity to meet CoCo during a meet and greet in the VIP tent from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Coco Jones is a 15-year-old singer who began her singing career at age 9. While singing the National Anthem for a crowd of 40,000 during a St. Louis Rams' football game, she managed to catch the eye of Disney scouts. In 2010, Coco emerged as a finalist in Radio Disney's "N.B.T." (Next Big Thing) program prior to its re-launch this year from a competition to a year-round music showcase Since then, Coco has hit the ground running by starring in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Let It Shine," and with the success of her debut single, "Holla at the DJ".

In addition to Coco Jones' performance, Global Winter Wonderland brings a diverse variety of entertainment acts during December. The UniverSoul Circus will perform four nights each week from Thursday - Sunday. Former R&B sensation, Montell Jordan, will perform with Victory World Music on December 19. Atlanta artist Cristina Quinones' will perform on December 21 and another Atlanta native, Jamie Grace, a 21-year-old Christian singer/songwriter will perform on December 24.

Global Winter Wonderland not only features giant illuminated lanterns including recreations of some of the world's greatest architectural achievements, such as the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, the Kremlin and the White House, but it also features over 20 carnival rides and games and live entertainment, which is included in the entry fee.

Tickets are $24.99 for Adults, $18.99 for Seniors, and $16.99 for Children. Season passes are also available at $43 for Adults, $31 for Seniors, and $28 for Children. Prices are inclusive of all the rides and live entertainment. Children 4 and under are admitted free. Global Winter Wonderland will be open daily from 5pm-11pm.

Coco Jones was born in South Carolina and raised in Tennessee; Coco Jones is the daughter of former Tennessee Titans defensive end Mike Jones and professional singer Javonda Jones.
