Gerald Moss Named VP of US/Canada Marketing & Sales for RareNoise Records

Gerald Moss, former VP/Marketing at Entertainment One Distribution, has joined RareNoise as VP/U.S. Marketing and Sales. "I'm thrilled to lend my skills, experience and extensive contacts to help expand RareNoise's presence in the North American market," Moss said. "With an extensive catalog, and impressive new release schedule, it is time more people know about this very special label."

Moss, an industry veteran known for his passion and advocacy, has forged an impressive path in music sales. Following years in radio, booking, music retail and wholesale, he joined Koch (which became eOne in 1984) as a field sales rep handling the Midwest. In 2000 he took over the East Coast region in sales management. Shortly thereafter, he expanded his reach and led eOne's marketing efforts, handling nearly 100 of the company's distributed labels.

Beyond marketing and sales, Moss has distinguished himself as a champion of the arts - in music criticism, on the board of the Huntington New York Arts council, in not-for-profit arenas, and in venue programming.

In his new capacity, Gerald will be based in the New York metro area where he makes his home. "Giacomo Bruzzo and his team have established a mighty beachhead, fostering and recording some of the most vital music created today," Moss enthuses. "They have sponsored once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, some quite genre breaking, lovingly produced and packaged. RareNoise is a gem of a record label and I'm proud to join the team."

ABOUT THE LABEL - RareNoiseRecords was founded in 2008 by two Italians, entrepreneur Giacomo Bruzzo and music producer Eraldo Bernocchi.
