In a short space of time, French newcomer Gostan has made a substantial mark on the global electronic music scene. The 23-year-old introduced the world to his dreamy debut single 'Klanga' and within a few months of its upload, the track has racked up over half a million plays on his SoundCloud page. A classically trained musician from an early age, Gostan has an immense passion for production, which shines through in his original tracks. Now, after a long arduous wait, Gostan's debut extended player is out via Universal Music Germany!

Carefully selecting artists to work their magic on the original, Gostan has created a cocktail of genres for his debut EP. Aside from the original, the EP offers four eclectic remixes from De Hofnar, Pep & Rash, Henri Pfr and Cedric Zeyenne; with each artist putting their own unique twist on the delightful beachside original. De Hofnar entices listeners with his deep signature sound, blended with a sultry Spanish guitar riff & Caribbean steel drums. Dutch Electro-House duo Pep & Rash seamlessly transform 'Klanga' into a big-room hit - adding a pounding beat, choppy vocal snippets and steady winding synths, while Belgian boy wonder Henri Pfr slows it right down with his cheery Tropical-House rendition. The final edit comes from Swiss producer Cedric Zeyenne, picking up the tempo with an upbeat, funky, electro track, adding his own unique flavor with a beautiful electric guitar riff.

In perfect sync with the track, the music video captures the true essence of 'Klanga'. The warming 4-minute film, premiered by DJ Mag, offers viewers an escape from reality. Following three friends as they meander through the sun kissed city of Berlin, the video pays a strong tribute to the city and its history, as it features footage of the Berlin wall, combined with the signature JFK speech sample.

About Gostan:
With an enormous passion for music, and a keen interest in the violin, it was no surprise that twenty-three year old Gostan followed a pathway to a career in music. Emerging as a huge talent in the electronic music scene, he was recently signed to Universal Music Germany. He played the violin from the age of 6, and this musical foundation developed into the desire to create electronic beats on Logic. It was then that Gostan was able to hone in on his signature sound, the kind of music that transports listeners to a place of pure happiness and bliss through warming delicate melodies, slight brass percussion, and carefully selected vocals. Gostan has demonstrated his ability to transform existing songs into uplifting remixes, as well as create his own distinctive material produced with determination to put the heart back into electronic dance music.
