Frederic Yonnet to Make NYC Debut at The Iridium, 6/15
Urban jazz harmonicist Frédéric Yonnet takes the stage for his New York debut at the Iridium Jazz Club in Times Square on Sunday, June 15, 2014 for two shows, 7pm and 9pm.
Best known for his collaborations with music icons Stevie Wonder, Prince and comedian Dave Chappelle, Yonnet is totally expanding the way the harmonica is experienced in jazz, hip-hop and R&B. "I didn't even know I liked this instrument until I heard him do it," said Chappelle in an introduction of Yonnet. "If I were that good at something, I'd wear a cape," he added.
