Super Bowl-winning football player Benjamin Utecht is winning over fans across the nation with his new holiday album Christmas Hope. After being forced into retirement from the sport due to injury, it was an easy decision for Benjamin to pursue his second love of music. Having grown up with a focus on both athletics and music, many have commented that Utecht is the non-fiction version of the Glee character Finn due to their uncanny similarities. He will continue to take the music world by storm alongside his friend and mentor Jim Brickman, who will showcase Benjamin as the featured male vocalist on his “A Christmas Celebration” national tour. iTunes has also chosen to feature Utecht’s album as part of a one week only $7.99 price promotion in their holiday store.

While it has traditionally been difficult for athletes to crossover into the music world, the truth is that Utecht has been preparing for this transition for the past twenty years. Thus far, the passionate superstar’s astonishing voice has been featured alongside legendary pops maestro Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and gospel music legends Bill Gaither and Sandi Patty. Benjamin’s classical crossover style strikes a resemblance to Josh Groban and Michael Buble, but with epic nature of cinematic scores.

Featuring classic holiday songs and hymns as well as an original tracks “I Pray” and “Hope,” Christmas Hope is the perfect way to celebrate the season with loved ones. Available everywhere now, Utecht is sure to prove his place in the industry and introduce his unique sound to music lovers across the nation. The album can be purchased on its iTunes product page here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/christmas-hope-an-inspirational/id464521816.
