Famed Electro Pop Act Dragonette Dominates NYC Pride

Famed Electro Fashion Forward Act Dragonette will dominate over NYC PRIDE this year as the band will be playing the top events whilst their new single will be starting to fire up at the charts. Dragonette a critically acclaimed band hailing from Canada have tasted the success with their many call out fan favourites, HELLO, OUTLINES, RIGHT WOMAN, and others but have yet to penetrate the US charts.

With their new single, Body 2 Body, from their severely hailed album Royal Blues, will be re- release with bonus material of remixes and a special acoustic version and video of the song in Europe, on Do It Yourself Records, Canada on Universal Music, Japan on Manhattan Records, and in the USA and the rest of the World on Dragonette Inc through The Orchard on July 7th. "This is an exciting time for us in the band as we have really wanted to break our way into the States in the right way, and we feel with the support of so much of our LGBTQ supporters this will be a great way to do this!" says Dan Kurtz co front man of the band.

The NYC Pride activity will have the band playing top tier events such as: Macy's Herald Square LGBT Event, Gaybreaker (DAYBREAKER, a morning dance movement in 16 cities that starts the day with yoga + fitness experience and then dance with reckless abandon before work alcohol and drug free), Madison Square Garden's The Liberties PRIDE GAME which the band will be performing along the side of Crystal Waters for gamers and fans, Private Member's Club, Soho House for a special hour concert, Voss Events: One Pride: One World Trade Center: Music: Hector Fonseca and Art: Darrell Thorne, The March Parade, the band will perform on the float as it marches down 5th Ave through the heart of Manhattan to Stone Wall and finally the closing party of DOT 429 as the band will be doing a special singjing performance at Paul's Baby Grand in Tribeca. With this aggressive schedule, Dragonette, will be sure to connect with a US based fan base.
