Connor Cruise, son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, wants to prove to the world that there's more to him than just his relationship to the A-list celebs. Cruise launches his career in the music industry with his first single, 'Closer to Heaven.' Get a first listen here!

The track features vocals by Mason Musso, formerly of pop-dance band Metro Station, as well as songwriter/producer DJ Poet, a frequent collaborator ot The Black Eyed Peas. In an exclusive interview with Billboard, Cruise shared, "I was trying to make an upbeat commercial dance music track that makes you feel good and is more of an anthem."

Cruise produced the single and co-wrote it along with Musso and DJ Poet along with Che Brooks. "I have always loved working with DJ Poet," he says. "Ever since I started producing he has really helped to mentor and guide me through the whole world of music."
