Emily Drennan (Mamma Mia!, New York Spectacular, Voca People, Toxic Audio) has just released a new holiday album, A Mother Daughter Christmas, with her mother, Patti Drennan.

Making music together for three decades and each having albums of their own, Patti and Emily are excited to finally release an album together. The album features over 25 Broadway, Off-Broadway and studio musicians and singers including: Jorge Avila, Charissa Bertels, Nate Birkey, Ashley Blanchet, Chris Dilley, Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf, Steve Doyle, Will Frampton, Jeremy Goldsmith, James Hall, Tom Jennings, Chelsey Keding, Tony Lustig, Jermaine Miles, Anthony Morris, Russ Nolan, Louise Owen, Marty Thomas, Tony Tino, Jeff Pew, Terry Silverlight, Jon Werking, and is produced by RoxSteady Music. This mother daughter duo showcases original songs and highlights nostalgic classics like I'll Be Home for Christmas, jazzy takes on Jingle Bells and All I Want for Christmas as well as funky gospel tunes such as Jesus, Oh, What a Wonderful Child and What Christmas Means to Me featuring Hammond B-3 organ.

Patti is an active ASCAP composer and arranger with sales of over 2 million copies having had her compositions performed at Carnegie Hall among other venues. She has over 475 choral octavos published with Shawnee Press, Lorenz, Alfred Publishing, Hope Publishing, Hal Leonard and other major publishers and has served as a workshop clinician in 25 states and internationally. She retired from teaching high school music after 28 years and later served as a Worship Arts Director for 10 years. She continues to write, arrange, perform with symphonies with Emily and lead music-reading sessions throughout the United States and Canada.

Emily was most recently seen in the New York Spectacular starring the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall this summer and, prior, was seen touring Europe and the Caribbean playing Tanya in Mamma Mia! She will be an upcoming guest soloist at Lincoln Center this month, has been a guest soloist at Carnegie Hall, and has been a guest artist with numerous symphonies including: Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (with Sandi Patti and u/s Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway); OKC Philharmonic; Winston-Salem Symphony; Muncie Symphony; Tulsa Signature Symphony; Hendersonville Symphony and upcoming Colorado Springs Philharmonic. She was "Mezzo" in Off-Broadway's VOCA PEOPLE for 1 ½ years and later traveled with its Israel, Japan, and Dubai tours as well as performed with them on The Jimmy Fallon Show, The MDA Telethon and with Sting. Emily is also a published ASCAP and Recording Academy (GRAMMY) producer, lyricist, composer and recording artist with 2 Degrees and 4 minors, summa cum laude, from Oklahoma State University who recently named her a Hall of Fame Outstanding Young Alumni.
