The biggest, most accessible and diverse arts venue in the Texas capital is proud to announce its 2014-2015 Season of Long Center Presents programming. With two never-before-seen in Austin Broadway musicals, evenings of classic Southern musical comfort, laugh out loud comedies and plenty of family offerings, the Long Center is Austin's destination for arts and entertainment this season. Beginning May 27, subscription packages will be available to the public.

America's Test Kitchen Live!
August 13

Step inside your television and experience the delicious art of cooking with America's Test Kitchen Live. The hit cooking show takes to the Long Center stage for a multi-media experience filled with testings, food tastings, and science experiments, all hosted by television star Christopher Kimball. Get an insider's view into one of the highest rated cooking shows on television, and find out what it's really like to work and host one of the most popular food programs on the air. Bring questions and come hungry; Christopher hosts a Q&A with the audience during every show! Tickets start at $35.

Crosby Stills & Nash
August 28

Folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash are known for their political activism and lasting influence on American culture, but their music and intricate vocal harmonies are what bring them to the Long Center. Playing since 1968, these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers straddle all flavors of popular music, from country rock to electric guitar to three-part harmonies. David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash played their first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, and its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music. The Intergalactic Nemesis: Twin Infinity
September 5 & 6

Don't miss the world premiere of the final installment of the Intergalactic trilogy: Twin Infinity.

Three actors voice the dozens of characters, a Foley artist creates all the sound effects, and a pianist plays a cinematic score, while more than 1,250 individual full-color hi-res comic book panels tell a hilarious sci-fi adventure story visually from an enormous movie screen. And it's all done live in front of your eyes.

Evil Dead: The Musical

Experience Evil Dead like never before in this hilarious musical adaptation of the cult horror classic. Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It's all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes... all set to a galvanic score of rock 'n' roll, pastiche tunes, and get-down-in-the-aisles-and-boogey-music! Tickets start at $17.

This hilariously heartwarming one-man show takes place in Seguine, Texas in 1991. It's the tale of a Goth boy who dreamed of being anywhere but the middle of Texas. The setting is specific but the story is universal as David Crabb reflects on rebellion, sexuality, friendship and what it means to grow up different and alone - just like everyone else. Take a trip back to the 1920's with Nice Work If You Can Get It¸ a feel-good musical about an unlikely love story between a wealthy playboy and a rough and tumble lady bootlegger. This show comes complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering costumes and memorable Gershwin hits, including "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Fascinating Rhythm." This the multimedia story of a hero...but it all starts with the music. From composers Nobuo Uematsu, Garry Schyman, Mike Morasky, John Debney, Jessica Curry, Inon Zur, Austin Wintory and more, our award-winning lineup brings you some of the best music that games have to offer. Many of the featured pieces are from games that have won Best Original Music Composition awards from industry groups such as the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), and the Game Audio Network Guild (GANG).
