Disney's Bridgit Mendler & R5 to Play Aurora's RiverEdge, 8/18

Teens and tweens today love Bridgit Mendler, who rose to fame on Disney Channel's kid com Wizards of Waverly before landing her own top-rated show, Good Luck Charlie. Now she's touring the U.S. promoting her debut album Hello My Name Is featuring the single Ready or Not, voted best acoustic performance at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Opening for Mendler is the L.A. pop rock sensation R5 featuring Disney's latest dude, Ross Lynch from Austin & Ally, performing songs from their new Hollywood Records EP, Loud. Lynch recently won Best Music Video for his single Heard It On The Radio from the Radio Disney Music Awards, and starred in the Disney Channel original movie Teen Beach Movie which debuted this past weekend and is breaking rating records. Lynch is also featured on the Teen Beach Movie soundtrack which hit #1 on the iTunes soundtrack chart and #3 on the iTunes overall chart.

Kids, set your dials for excitement, because Bridgit Mendler and R5 are performing live and in person one night only, Sunday, August 18 at 6 p.m. at Aurora's new RiverEdge Park, 360 North Broadway in downtown Aurora. Don't miss your ONLY chance in Chicagoland to see these two Radio Disney Music Award winners in one amazing, crazy-fun night. Gates open at 4 p.m. The concert begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 general admission; $45 preferred general admission bench seating; $95 Sky Deck *(includes food and drink - beer and wine for parents, soda and water for the kids), private restrooms, and an amazing view of the stage.
