Hold On, now. Country superstar Dierks Bentley rocks the St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights concert series tonight, July 24. Concert starts at 7 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.) at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Lawn tickets are available (reserved tickets are sold out). Tickets available online at www.bigstarsbrightnightsconcerts.org or 435-655-3114.

"Country's most charismatic centrist" (Washington Post), Dierks Bentley delivers modern country, classic country, (a little bluegrass) and rock. He sings of pick-up trucks and red, white and blue, faith, parties and love. And the sizzling, chart-topping, country singer and songwriter has garnered 11 Grammy nominations, topped the charts with seven albums and earned an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry.

Bentley brings his full-throttle show to Park City hot on the heels of his seventh album "Riser," which is full of tunes that rival any "bro-country" chart-toppers. According to the Star Tribune, the single "Drunk on a Plane" has become "Nashville's Freshest, Funniest Party Song." But Bentley's music is certainly not all keg-stands and voluptuous flight attendants. He isn't afraid to delve into the deeper - and heavier - sentiments of lyrical songwriting with tunes like "I'm a Riser" and his lead single "I Hold On" (about the loss of his father, his love for his wife and more). As the Huffington Post puts it, "the singer-songwriter continues to bring a much-needed creative heft to country music."

"He's a country rocker through and through - blue jeans, pickup truck and all," says PCI executive director. "And while he delivers one hell of a party song, he's got a songwriter's genuine gift when it comes to the introspective tunes and a voice to match. This will be an unforgettable Pioneer Day event."

All St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights concerts take place at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Lawn and reserved tickets as well as summer season punch cards are available at the Park City Institute Box Office at The Mega Genius Supply Store and IQ HQ (435 Swede Alley, Park City), via phone at 435-655-3114 or online at www.bigstarsbrightnightsConcerts.org. General Admission tickets may also be purchased at Deer Valley Signatures stores located at 625 Main Street and Silver Lake Village or Deer Valley Etc. in Snow Park Lodge (please call 435-649-1000 or 800-424-3337 for store hours); The King's English Bookshop (Salt Lake City); and Hugo Coffee (inside Park City's Visitor Center). Discounted tickets are available for children (under age 16) as well as seniors (age 62 and older).

Gates open 90-minutes before show time. Coolers are permitted and a nine-inch chair height restriction (i.e. you shouldn't be able to roll a basketball under the seat) is enforced. Concerts will be held rain or shine.
