Five-time Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and world renowned singer Diana Krall announced today that she perform at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 7P, as part of her "Wallflower World Tour. Krall's latest U.S. Tour is in support of her stunning new album Wallflower, which will be released on Verve Records on October 21. Tickets are $65 - $45; a limited number of VIP Meet and Greet tickets are available for $125. All ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice. Fan club pre-sale tickets go on sale next Wednesday, August 13. Tickets to the general public go on sale online only at www.ppacri.org on Friday, August 15 at 10A. Tickets will be on sale at the Box Office (220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence) and by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787) on Monday, August 18 at 10A. Summer Box Office Hours (now through September 1) are Monday through Thursday, 10A to 3P; the Box Office opens two hours prior to curtain time on performance dates.

Produced by 16-time Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster, Wallflower finds Krall breaking new ground with her interpretations of some of the greatest pop songs of all time. The album features popular classics from the late 60's to present day that inspired Krall in her early years, as well as an unreleased composition from Paul McCartney ("If I Take You Home Tonight"). The "Wallflower World Tour" will feature Krall performing pop classics such as The Mamas and the Papas' "California Dreaming" and the Eagles' "Desperado," and Bob Dylan's "Wallflower," which inspired the album's title track, among others.

Krall will be accompanied onstage by Anthony Wilson (guitar), Dennis Crouch (bass), Stuart Duncan (fiddle), Karriem Riggins (drums) and Patrick Warren (Keyboards).

Diana Krall recently headlined The Montreal International Jazz Festival performing to over 100,000 of her most loyal fans. Diana Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. To date, she has won five Grammy Awards, eight Juno Awards and has also earned nine gold, three platinum and seven multi-platinum albums. Her unique artistry transcends any single musical style and has made her one of the most recognizable artists of our time.
