Debbie Reynolds, Betty Buckley and More Set for Richmond Hill Centre's 2012-13 Season

The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts announced the details of its 2012-2013 Season today, featuring Debbie Reynolds and Betty Buckley. Filled with premieres and exclusive GTA appearances the 2012-2013 Season, Captured Moments, will further solidify the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts as the centre of culture in York Region.

Debbie Reynolds - Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 8pm
Warm, dazzling and dynamic, American icon Debbie Reynolds has been entertaining us for over six decades. From her memorable onscreen roles in Singin’ in the Rain and The Unsinkable Molly Brown to her numerous TV appearances on such hit shows as The Love Boat and Will & Grace, Debbie Reynolds has transcended generations. Steve Patterson “This is Not Debatable”- Friday October 19th at 8pm
As host of CBC Radio One and CBC Television’s wildly successful The Debaters Steve Patterson has become a household name, with more than half a million weekly listeners and viewers. A Gemini Award nominee and veteran of the comedy festival circuit, Patterson brings his trademark self-deprecating delivery and razor-sharp wit to the Richmond Hill stage. Queen: A Night at the Opera- Tuesday October 23, 2012 at 8pm
Released in 1975 and featuring the unmistakable vocals of the immortal Freddie Mercury, A Night at the Opera is the fourth album by the British rock group Queen and the band’s first platinum seller. Cited by music publications as one of Rock’s finest works it features the classic hits You’re My Best Friend and the classic rock anthem Bohemian Rhapsody. Jennifer Warnes- Friday October 25, 2012 at 8pm
American singer and songwriter Jennifer Warnes is best known for her rich distinctive voice and the duets that helped define two iconic feature films. The Richmond Hill Centre continues its presentation of the complete Wingfield cycle with the second installment, Wingfield’s Progress. In his second season on The Farm Walt faces a new challenge, the spectre of urban development. Can he mobilize the neighbourhood to save the rustic splendour of Larkspur? Jason McCoy- Saturday December 22nd at 8pm
Celebrate the holiday season with Canadian Country Music star and Country Male Vocalist of the Year Jason McCoy. In this interactive Christmas show, guests drop by on the big screen to join Jason for holiday favourites, and McCoy originals. New Year’s Eve- Monday December 31st at 10pm
The RHCPA follows up on last year’s wildly successful event with another New Year’s Eve celebration that will have you moving until midnight and beyond. Supertramp: Breakfast in America- Friday February 15th at 8pm

Toronto Jazz Orchestra- Thursday March 7th at 8pm

Betty Buckley- Thursday May 9th at 8pm
Broadway diva Betty Buckley won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS. Best known for her role as Abby Bradford in the hit series Eight is Enough, Ms. Buckley’s career has included numerous film, television and stage roles and
