"We are holding this concert to raise money for Autism Speaks. How often does my world center on my problems and I forget to help others in need. I'm in a great position as a performer with an inspirational message to give back to those in need. Our focus today is to be of service to others and to put on an amazing show. I want to thank the other bands for participating in this special event. " - Tom Moran/Daddy Rocker

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Their longtime friend Bernie Marcus donated $25 million to help financially launch the organization. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We are proud of what we've been able to accomplish and look forward to continued successes in the years ahead. http://www.autismspeaks.org/

Tom Moran was born and raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn. His debut album, Starting Over, was a tribute to the power of sobriety and second chances. Songs such as, "I Would Drink," "Starting Over," and "Into The Sun," reflect on Tom's life experiences. His latest album Ain't Gonna Give Up marks a new direction for Tom and his career as a country/rock recording artist. Inpired by Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen, Tom is on a mission to forge his own unique style of country and rock 'n' roll music. Tom is a recovering alchoholic, who at one point in his life was ready to give up on life and love.

Born to an alcoholic father, Tom took to drinking at an early age. This initial casual drinking would turn into an all out addiction that consumed his life.
