The 2010 American Idol runner-up, the first female finalist in three years, Crystal Bowersox has made it her mission to live life and her music to the fullest. With a gentle warmth and wisdom well beyond her years, the consummate artist has an uncompromising vision of herself and her music that is refreshing and rare. Singer, songwriter and actress Crystal Bowersox will be in concert at The Capitol Center for the Arts tonight, November 14, at 8pm.

Bowersox's philosophy of life, in her own words: "I believe if you stand for something, stand your ground; stand it strong and stand it proud." It is this fortitude and courageous spirit that resonated with millions night after night when Crystal took the stage on American Idol. Bowersox is in her element in concert, typically performing both original music and covers while playing guitar accompanied by her band.

The Ohio native and mother of one released her debut album, Farmer's Daughter, in 2010 and she released a second album in 2013 called All That For This. Bowersox has performed with legendary artists Joe Cocker, Harry Connick, Jr. and Alanis Morissette. She is also active in promoting awareness for type one diabetes.
