Charles, a sax, flute, and vocals man with the Neville Brothers, has a Grammy Award and gold/platinum records from 6 different countries. He has appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Oprah, Saturday Night Live, Arsenio, Austin City Limits, Letterman and the Tonight Show. Charles is well-known not only for being a Grammy Award winner but for his ethereal performances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and is invited every year to perform there! Charles has always added something to the family ensemble that no one else can provide: not just his intense spiritual vibe and stunning instrumental virtuosity, but even more, a level of musical intelligence which reflects and expands a skilled player and singer in several musical idioms. Charles Neville's work is well known throughout the world, but his sparking work is a treat to hear from such an accomplished performer and improviser. Neville is a saxophone player/singer who has played in a variety of styles with some of the world's leading musicians - including Ray Charles, James Brown, Santana and The Grateful Dead - and has been front man for the Neville Brothers for more than 30 years.
