Chanhassen Dinner Theatres presents a new concert offering featuring The Fabulous Armadillos and Collective Unconscious in the best of The Eagles with TAKIN' IT TO THE LIMIT – A Tribute to The Eagles. The Twin Cities' premiere concert event plays on The Fireside stage for a two-night engagement on Wednesday, August 1 and Friday, August 3.

Similar to RUMOURS & DREAMS – An Evening With Fleetwood Mac, (which played at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in April 2012 and will play again on July 10 and 11), TAKIN' IT TO THE LIMIT – A Tribute to The Eagles is a concert event that will make audiences want to sing along, stand up, dance, cheer and reminisce.

A Twin Cities premiere, TAKIN' IT TO THE LIMIT – A Tribute to The Eagles is performed by nine of Minnesota's finest singers and instrumentalists. (Gary ("Gary D." Armstrong, Paul "Stretch Rocker" Diethelm, Jeff Engholm, Muggsy Lauer, Nathan Nesje, Jay O'Donnell, Billy Scherer, Richard Witteman, Mike Zeleny) It has been performed has played to sellout audiences in venues outside of the Twin Cities including St. Cloud, Sartell, Brainerd and Austin. Dan Barth of St. Cloud's Pioneer Place Theater called TAKIN' IT TO THE LIMIT – A Tribute to The Eagles "Nothing short of amazing! This performance is filled with unbelievable harmonies, great song choices and pure musicianship." Mike Plant of Minneapolis said, "An incredibly talented group who recreate these classic songs with their own unique, fabulous touches. This is a great night out that's worth every penny!" Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' president, Michael Brindisi stated, "We're excited to have the Eagles tribute come to CDT after the success of the Fleetwood Mac tribute. These concerts are really fun additions to our other dining and entertainment offerings and draw in a great audience."

TAKIN' IT TO THE LIMIT – A Tribute to The Eagles is a tribute to the acclaimed Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame band named the most successful musical act of the 1970s. With five number one singles, six Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and six number one albums, the group was ranked as the highest-selling American band in United States history. Originally formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner, the band has sold over 120 million albums worldwide. The original band was active through 1980, split for fourteen years reforming in 1994 and is still actively performing to this day. Other notable band members have included Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit and Don Felder. Other acts associated with The Eagles have included Linda Ronstadt, Poco, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Jackson Browne, and J.D. SOUTHER.

Albums produced include: Eagles (1972), Desperado (1973), On the Border (1974), One of These Nights (1975), Hotel California (1976-1978) and The Long Run (1979-1980), Hell Freezes Over (1994-1999), Long Road Out of Eden (2007, their first studio album in 28 years).

Notable hits include: "Take It Easy," " Peaceful Easy Feeling," "Witchy Woman," "Tequila Sunrise," "Desperado," "Best of My Love," "One of These Nights," "Already Gone," "Take It To the Limit," "Life in The Fast Lane," "Hotel California," "Heartache Tonight," "Lyin' Eyes" and many more.

TAKIN' IT TO THE LIMIT – A Tribute to The Eagles tickets are $40 per person. A dinner option is available for just $15 per person. Performance time is 8pm. Bar offerings available at additional cost in the theatre, in the Hogarth Lounge or in the new Brindisi's PUB located next to the theatre. The patio will also be open following the performance for drinks and appetizers available at additional cost.
