Champion trick roper twirler, bull-whip master and premiere showman of the western arts Chris McDaniel brings the excitement of the Wild West to Canal Park Playhouse. Filled with rope tricking, whip cracking, gun spinning, and songs from the Wild West, McDaniel takes audiences on an action-packed adventure through the legendary frontier.

One of the foremost Wild West performers in the United States, Chris McDaniel launched his career as a singer at the famed Grand Olde Opry. Once he learned trick roping, and combined with his musical act, his career catapulted into the western arts. He joined Lonestar Rodeo Company, playing the rodeo circuit where he jumped through the Texas Skip Loop rope 401 times over, becoming the World Champion and landing on The Late Show with David Letterman, where Letterman proclaimed, "this is something!" As an actor, he appeared in the national tour of the Will Rogers Follies and played Buffalo Bill in the national tour of Annie Get Your Gun. A regular performer at the long-running Monday Night Magic, he wrote and co-starred in the Off Broadway show Maximum Risk at the Soho Playhouse.
